About UP Police: UP Police also called Uttar Police is a law enforcement agency of the Indian State Uttar Pradesh. The head quarter of UP Police is located in Prayagraj in UP. UP Police is controlled and managed by the government of Uttar Pradesh. Time to time the UP government release vacancies in UP Police for different posts. Recently the DGP of UP Police has made an announcement about UP Police Recruitment 2019 under which almost 6000 candidates will be hired for different posts.

Age Limit for UP Police Recruitment

For Male Candidates: All the male candidates who are applying for UP Police Recruitment 2019-20 must have their age between 18 years to 23 years. The candidates whose age is less than 18 years and more than 23 years will not be eligible for UP Police Vacancies 2019-20.

For Female Candidates: Female candidates who are interested in UP Police Vacancies 2019-20 are notified that their age must be between 18 years to 26 years i.e. the minimum age of the female candidates must be 18 years and the maximum age as decided by the officials are 26 years.

Age Relaxation: However there is age relaxation for the candidates who fall into the category of reserved quota.

Educational Qualification for UP Police Vacancies 2019-20:

Educational qualification of the candidates will depend on the post they are applying for. However the minimum qualification for UP Police recruitment is 10th pass from any affiliated board and the maximum qualification to apply for these posts are Bachelor. Also the reserved candidates will get relaxation in overall percentage they have scored in the concerned examination.
